Acceptance

These Terms of Use apply to KeepReceipt. By downloading, installing, or using KeepReceipt, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Apple license terms

KeepReceipt is licensed, not sold. Your license to use KeepReceipt is governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement.

These Terms describe app-specific use and purchase conditions. They supplement, and do not replace, Apple’s Standard EULA. If these Terms conflict with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA controls.

What KeepReceipt does

KeepReceipt is a local receipt-organizing utility. It can scan or import receipt images, suggest text recognized on your device, store purchase details, track dates, schedule local reminders, and create exports.

KeepReceipt does not verify that a receipt is authentic, determine a retailer’s actual return or warranty policy, administer a warranty, or provide legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice. Text recognition, suggested values, dates, and reminders are best effort. You are responsible for reviewing saved information, checking the original receipt and retailer terms, and acting before a deadline.

Your content and local data

You retain ownership of receipt images, notes, and other content you add. Receipt content is not uploaded to or hosted by a developer-operated backend.

You are responsible for having the right to store and share your content, protecting access to your device, and keeping any backups or exports you need. Deleting receipt data or removing the app may be irreversible, subject to backups managed by Apple.

KeepReceipt Pro Lifetime

KeepReceipt Pro Lifetime is an optional one-time, non-consumable App Store purchase. It is not a subscription, has no recurring charge, and does not include a trial.

The App Store shows the applicable price and currency before confirmation. Apple processes payment and associates the entitlement with the Apple Account used for purchase. Restore Purchases asks Apple to restore an eligible verified entitlement. KeepReceipt does not receive payment-card details.

Refund requests are handled by Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse KeepReceipt, interfere with its operation, use it for unlawful purposes, or reverse-engineer it except where applicable law expressly permits that activity.

Intellectual property

KeepReceipt, including its software, visual design, branding, and original content, is owned by Peter Hlavatik or licensed to him. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the app to you. You retain ownership of content you add.

Availability and changes

Some functionality depends on Apple services, device capabilities, operating-system behavior, permissions, StoreKit availability, or notification delivery. Features may be corrected, updated, or changed over time where permitted by law.

Warranty, liability, and consumer rights

KeepReceipt is provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by law. No guarantee is made that recognized text, stored dates, reminders, exports, or app availability will always be complete, accurate, uninterrupted, or error-free.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded. Apple’s Standard EULA contains the governing warranty and liability provisions for the app license.

Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated when KeepReceipt’s functionality or legal obligations change. The effective date will be updated, and the current version will be published at https://keepreceipt-app.vercel.app/terms.
